Our professionals
Charles joined Quilvest in 2015. He is a Partner of the Primaries, Co-Investments & Secondaries team and is based in London.
Charles has 17 years of experience. Before joining Quilvest in 2015, Charles was an Investment Professional at Sullivan Street Partners, a mid-market UK private equity firm, and prior to that was an Investment Banker within the Mergers & Acquisitions teams at Barclays Capital and Nomura.
Charles holds an MSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Warwick.
Lily joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2010. She is a Vice President of the Primaries, Co-Investments & Secondaries team and is based in New York.
Prior to joining Quilvest in 2010, Lily was an analyst for Zephyr Management, an asset management firm.
Lily holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Trinity Cui
AssistantTrinity joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2017. She is the assistant of Fund & Co. Team and Office Manager of HK office. She is based in HK.
Prior to joining, Trinity received a Master Degree of Social Science in University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor degree of Social Science from University of Macau.
Abhishek joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2013. He is a Managing Director of the Primaries, Co-Investments & Secondaries team and is based in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining Quilvest, Abhishek was an analyst in Nomura’s investment banking team in Singapore.
Abhishek holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and an Executive Master in Finance from INSEAD.
Sarah Heard
AssociateSarah joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2024 as an Associate within the Primaries, Secondaries, and Co-investing team and is based in New York.
She focuses on the closing and due diligence of private equity funds and co-investments in North America. Prior to joining Quilvest Capital Partners, Sarah was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Restructuring group at Perella Weinberg Partners.
Sarah graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, with concentrations in Finance and Accounting and a minor in Math.
Finley joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2015. He is a Partner of the Primaries, Co-Investments & Secondaries team and is based in New York.
Prior to joining Quilvest, Finley was a Vice President at GE Equity, the $2.5 billion private equity arm of GE Capital. Finley was responsible for all aspects of the investment process including the sourcing and execution of new investments. Finley also managed a $500 million direct and co-investment portfolio.
Before re-joining GE, Finley was a Senior Associate at Loughlin Management Partners, a middle-market restructuring advisor.
Finley has also held various corporate finance advisory roles at GE Capital, KPMG, and Deutsche Bank.
Finley received an MBA from The Johnson School at Cornell University and a BBA from Pace University. He is a CPA licensed in the State of New York and is a CFA charter holder.
Jean-François joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2005. He is a Senior Advisor of the Primaries, Co-Investments & Secondaries team and is based in London.
Prior to joining Quilvest, Jean-François gained seven years of management and strategic consulting experience as a Senior Associate Consultant with Bain & Company and a Junior Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company.
At McKinsey, Jean-François worked with several European private equity funds in various industries, in particular the media and consumer goods sectors. His assignments included strategic and market due diligence, and merger and acquisition valuations. Prior to his consulting career, Jean-François worked for two years as an Analyst at Société Générale in São Paulo, Brazil.
Jean-François is a graduate of HEC (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales) Paris and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Andrew joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2019. He is a Vice President of the Primaries, Co-Investments & Secondaries team and is based in New York.
Prior to joining Quilvest, Andrew was an Associate within Citi’s Loan Syndications Group.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Wake Forest University.
Justin Castro-Pena
AssociateJustin joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2024. He is an Associate within the Primaries, Co-Investments & Secondaries team, and is based in London
Justin has previous experience in Investment Banking within the M&A teams at Citi in London and Private Equity at a mid-market Private Equity firm in Paris.
Justin holds an MSc in Management from Emlyon business school.
John (JK) joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2016. He is a Principal of the Primaries, Co-Investments & Secondaries team and is based in New York.
Prior to joining Quilvest in 2016, JK spent over two years as an Analyst in Nomura’s Leveraged Finance Group.
JK received his MBA and Bachelor’s degree from Bryant University where he studied Finance and Legal Studies
Mani joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2005. He is a Partner, heads the Primaries, Co-Investments & Secondaries team and is based in New York.
He initially joined Quilvest in New York as a member of the direct investment team focused on lead and co-investments primarily in the United States before opening Quilvest’s Hong Kong office in 2010 to develop the Asia and emerging market private equity programs.
Prior to joining Quilvest, Mani worked at Alvarez & Marsal, a prominent crisis management and restructuring advisory firm.
Prior to A&M, Mani worked as the Director of Finance and Strategic Planning for a data center and data communications provider in the Northeastern United States.
Mani started his career in the Media & Communications and International investment banking practices of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, both in New York and Hong Kong.
Mani received his MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Michigan. He is an advisory board member or board observer on a number of Quilvest’s funds and co-investments. He is married with three children.
Catherine joined Quilvest Capital Partners in 2010. She is a Partner of the Primaries, Co-Investments & Secondaries team and is based in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining Quilvest, Catherine spent several years at HarbourVest Partners (Asia) in Hong Kong, most recently as a Vice President. She focused on primary partnership investments across Asia Pacific and committed over $150 million in capital to managers across developed and emerging Asia.
Prior to that, Catherine worked as a Consultant at Bain & Company in its Hong Kong, New York, and Boston offices.
Catherine holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Brown University with concentrations in Computer Science and Business Economics.
